Blackberry Decryption failure Please regenerate key
Blog Post by : MIFTAH - Ayahnya AllessaTadi pagi baru nyadar kalo Blackberry saya gak dapet email, pantesan kok dari semalem blackberry email anteng2 aja karena biasanya jam2 9 malem banyak email dari houston IT support kirim2 email2 ticket support kan di sana pas jam 9 pagian.. ternyata setiap mo reconcile message selalu timbul error message Decryption failure, Please regenerate key, saya gak tau apakah itu penyebabnya apa bukan? saya udah coba restart blackberrynya tapi masih tetap sama.. kalau send email bisa tetapi gak bisa terima.
mau contact office blackberry support tapi di sebrang sudah malam, ya coba2 aja nyari di google dan nemu caranya, saya copas ya dapetnya dari sini
Issue: You receive the following error on your BlackBerry handheld:
Decryption failure. Please regenerate key.
Solution: Generate a new Encryption Key.
How:
1. On your BlackBerry handheld, click Options > Security
2. Scroll down to the Services section.
3. Select the listing that is like “Desktop [some number] (3DES)
4. Click the trackwheel and select Regenerate Encryption Key.Note: If you don’t find this option under Options > Security, you may need to look under Options > Security > General Settings on your device.
atau bisa dengan cara lain kalo menggunakan BES server yaitu dengan cara :
1. buka software Blackberry desktop manager
2. connect blackberry handheld ke computer
3. pilih icon redictor setting
4. pilih bagian security
5. pilih generate keys manually dan tekan tombol generate
both ways worked for me….
