tapi sy mo upgrade di web saya yang lain.. weblog yg baru sy daftarin kemarin yaitu viladago.com, mumpung web ini masih baru cuma beberapa post jadi saya jadiin kelinci percobaan

supaya gak repot2 ada plugin yang memudahkan kita untuk mengupgrade wordpress blog kita, kl ada fantastico di webhosting kita sih enak tinggal klik aja, tapi kalo gak ada plugin wordpress automatic upgrade ini amat sangat membantu. caranya amat simple dan mudah.

setelah upgrade, tampilan di dashboardnya lumayan bagus dan lebih terorganisir. bisa di liat di gambar di bawah

ya jadinya blog ini mo di upgrade gak yaa??? ntar aja ahh…

Solusi : Caranya gampang aja, pertama-tama di komputer harus ada user account lain yang mempunyai Administrator Right. Dalam Kasus ini saya mau memindahkan user profiles saya ke drive M:, berikut step-stepnya :

1. Login sebagai user lain yang mempunyai Admin Right
2. Copy folder user profiles di dalam C:\Documents and Settings ke drive/folder tujuan.
mis : C:\Documents and Settings\miftahul.arifin –> M:\Bin\Drive H\Documents and Settings\miftahul.arifin
3. jalankan program Regedit32 (start –> run –>regedt32.exe)
4. buka key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\ dan cari profiles account kit
5. di jendela sebelah kanan cari key ProfileImagePath dan ubah path lokasi profiles kita ke lokasi yang baru
6. restart komputer dan login sebagai account kita…

Solution :
1. copy .pcf file from windows computer that already installed with Cisco VPN Client, the .pcf file usually stored on C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\profiles and put it on Mac desktop

2. download Cisco VPN Client for MAC, you can download this software at this below link

3. after the file downloaded (in this case i put it on desktop), run the .dmg file and double click CiscoVPNCLient and it will open the package installer

4. Before running the installer (Cicso VPN Client.mpkg), double click on profiles folder below it

5. Drag the .pcf file to profile folder, after that Open the installer package by double-clicking the Cisco VPN Client.mpkg file that resides in the installer directory. The Authorization window appears. You must have an Administrator password to install the VPN Client application.

6. Click the lock to Authenticate your password. The Authenticate dialog box appears. Enter your administrator username and a password or challenge phrase. Click OK.

7. The first window that appears during installation is the introduction. The right pane of the Introduction window lists system requirements. The left pane displays each of the installation steps. As you complete each step, it is highlighted with a blue bullet. Click Continue.

8. You are required to read and accept the Cisco software license agreement before you can continue with the installation process. When you have completely read the Cisco VPN Client software license agreement, click Continue. To continue with the installation, click Agree.

9. If your workstation has more than one disk drive, you can select the destination volume to install the VPN Client on your workstation. Click Continue. The VPN Client is installed in the Applications directory.

10. Select the Easy Install method of installation. The default installation process installs the following packages with the VPN Client application:
* VPN Client application binaries (includes everything in the directory /usr/local/bin, including the ipseclog).
* VPN Client graphical user interface.
* VPN Client kernel extension.
* VPN Client profiles (includes the global profile, vpnclient.ini, and any user profiles, *.pcf files ).
* VPN startup (the system startup script to automatically start the client at boot time)

11. A progress bar lists the installation steps as they occur. When the installation is finished, a window appears to indicate whether the installation was successful. Click Close.

12. To begin using the Client, double-click the VPN Client application icon located in the Applications directory

13. And Voila… my company setting is in… Just Click Connect to connect to my company VPN….

kalau file dump nya kecil sih gak masalah.. kalau yg beberapa puluh atau ratus megabyte wehh.. lumayan lah..
setelah googling dapet deh tools untuk membuat file sql dump menjadi bagian yang kecil2.. namanya SQL Dump File Splitter. Tool ini dibuat oleh Philip Lehmann-Böhm tapi saya taunya dari situsnya Rusiczki

menggunakannyanya simple aja, tinggal jalankan program SQL Dump File Splitter, pilih dump file yang akan kita belah, tentukan ukurannya, pilih lokasi hasil splitternya dan execute… wuuzzz jadi deh.. tinggal restore deh pake phpmyadmin..

But fortunately still have Blackberry connection so i can use it as a tathered modem with computer. By The Way I’m using Indosat Satelindo Matrix as my carrier provider so in this post in work only for Indosat Satelindo Matrix. for other carrier it needs little modification on APN address. and here is how to do it.. :

First, you have to install Desktop manager software, the current version when i write this posting is version 4.3 that can be downloaded here

Setting Blackberry as your modem via Satelindo Matrix

Step #1: Configure the Modem

After installing BlackBerry Desktop Manager you should have a “Standard Modem” that was added by BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Do not remove this device. Do not do as Cingular advises and create an additional modem, as this will not work. You simply just need to add an init string to the existing modem in advanced settings to do this:

A. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options
B. Click Modems Tab
C. Click Standard Modem (usually on COM4)
D. Click Properties
E. Click Advanced
F. Enter: +cgdcont=1,”IP”,”Satelindogprs.com”
G. Click OK

Step #2: Configure a Dial-Up Network Connection

A. Start > Settings > Control Panel > Network Connections
B. Click Create a new connection (under Network Tasks on the left)
C. Click Next
D. Click Connect to Internet
E. Click Set up my connection manually
F. Click Connect using a Dial-up modem
G: Check Modem – Standard Modem (usually com4) Make sure that is the only modem checked.
F. ISP Name – Type “GPRS”
G. Phone Number – Type “*99#”
H. Click Next
I. User name: ” ” (leave it blank)
J. Password: ” ” (leave it blank)
K. Uncheck use this account name, and make this the default
L. Click Next
M. Check Add a shortcut to desktop
N. Click Finish

(O thru U Optional Disable IP header compression steps)

O. Double click the new connection icon on your desktop
P. Click Properties Button
Q. Click Networking Tab
R. Click Properties Button
S. Click Advanced Button
T. Uncheck Use IP header compression
U. Click Okay, Click Okay, Click Okay

Step #3: Connect to the Internet

A. Start BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
B. Make sure your device is connected.
C. Double click the GPRS icon on your desktop to connect make sure BlackBerry Desktop Manager has not been closed.

I’ve tested this connection with Blackberry model 8700g series and 8310 blackberry curve series and i guess it will works with other model as well

RESOLUTION :

To resolve this problem there are few steps to be done :

1. First.. if you have many printers installed on your system you’d better back it up, microsoft has developed great utility called Print Migrator, it can backup and restore your printer configuration and setting.
you can download Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Print Migrator 3.1 in here

2. Uninstall Spooler with cleanspl.exe utility, this utility is part of Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools, and this tool can be downloaded at here
it might required to restart the computer

3. after restart the computer check that on printer and faxes is empty, then install the printer that previously gave an error, if succeded…

4. restore the other printer with print migrator again..

Solution: Generate a new Encryption Key.

How:
1. On your BlackBerry handheld, click Options > Security
2. Scroll down to the Services section.
3. Select the listing that is like “Desktop [some number] (3DES)
4. Click the trackwheel and select Regenerate Encryption Key.

atau bisa dengan cara lain kalo menggunakan BES server yaitu dengan cara :

1. buka software Blackberry desktop manager
2. connect blackberry handheld ke computer
3. pilih icon redictor setting
4. pilih bagian security
5. pilih generate keys manually dan tekan tombol generate

both ways worked for me….

Apa itu register_globals dan apa kegunaannya dapat dibaca di php.net dan di wiki, soale saya gak tau tentang pehape pehapean…:D

seperti biasa nanya2 ama om google dapet beberapa cara untuk menyeting register globals tersebut, ada yang lewat php.ini ada yang lewat .htacess file, kebetulan server webhosting saya ada fasilitas memodifikasi php.ini di control panelnya jadi tinggal menambah baris di php.ini sebagai berikut :

php.ini

register_globals = Off
magic_quotes_gpc = On

selesai…

tapi kalu webhostingnya gak punya fasilitas tersebut bisa dilakukan beberapa step berikut :

- buat file .htaccess di root direktori situs Joomla anda dan tambah baris berikut:

# Offers protection during hack attacks by NOT disclosing error
# messages, server paths, et cetera, and turns off your globals.
php_flag display_errors off
php_flag register_globals off

- buat file ‘php.ini’ di root direktory joomla anda dan tambahkan baris berikut :

register_globals = Off
magic_quotes_gpc = On

- editlah file globals.php dan ganti baris berikut :

define( ‘RG_EMULATION’, 1 ) menjadi define( ‘RG_EMULATION’, 0 )

selesai….. register globals anda sekarang OFF!
